Organization of Final Presentations

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

For your final project presentation, you are supposed to prepare a presentation illustrating some highlights of the project you have conducted. You should have at least one slide each for

  • PROBLEM: the problem you were working on
  • RELATED WORK: related research
  • APPROACH: the approach you took to address the problem
  • RESULTS: your results
  • EVALUATION: an evaluation of your results (critical reflection of your achievements)

You can decide whether you give the presentation as a group, or you elect a member of the group to give the presentation. If you feel comfortable giving your presentation in English, you are more than welcome to do so (this also gives you some practice and allows non-english speaking students to attend your talks). However, giving your presentation in English is not mandatory.

Organizational constraints:

max. 10-12 mins of presentation/group (max. 15 slides), we will watch the time strictly!

plus 5-10 mins discussion/group.

Submitting your results: The deadline for submitting your project work is Wednesday June 25th, 12:15. Please submit your work via e-mail to markus.strohmaier @ tugraz.at using the subject “AWM2008 Submission”, and provide the title of the project, the name of your supervisor and the names of all group members in the body of the e-mail.

Final Student Presentations

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

Here is the tentative Presentation Schedule for your final presentations. Assignment to presentation slots was constrained by Michael Granitzer’s / my availability (I am not available next week/ M. Granitzer is not available the week after). So switching presentation schedules is hardly possible / would be very difficult to accomodate.

The order of presentations within a given day below is arbitrary, the final order will be decided on the day where the presentations will be given.
